Enos is ruthless, but always fair. He does what's necessary, even when it hurts. He's made the hard calls before, and he'll make them again. Protective as hell, he sees his squad as his family, and even though he complains and makes their life a hell, he'll protect them with his life.
Origin
Enos was born in the old world, but he doesn’t remember it. The virus hit when he was two. His father, a doctor, was one of the first to die. His mother fled with him and his sister to an NQF settlement called North Camp, where they grew up among a generation that only knew the ruins.Enos always longed for The Wild. At 21, he joined the NQF’s Reap Corps to finally see it. Since then, he’s saved lives — and ended them. Fought infected. Watched friends die. The scars on his body tell most of the story, but the worst ones are the ones you can’t see — his soul.

WEAPONS
He keeps his military weapons accessible at all times, though they’re only used in emergencies due to limited ammo. For close encounters, he relies on a combat knife — always strapped within reach.

GAS MASK
Hanging from his belt at all times. Used for entering areas with decomposing infected or unknown airborne risks.

TENT
Each squad member has their own tent — typically green and weather-worn from constant use. Inside, there’s a sleeping bag, basic necessities like a water canister, a first-aid pouch, a portable lamp, a firestarter kit

CARD DECK
Enos carries an old, weathered deck of playing cards. He usually pulls it out at night, when the squad’s gathered around the fire.
Q&A with Enos
Introvert or extrovert?
People exhaust me. But out here? You don’t get the luxury of silence. Squad’s always in your ear. So I talk when I gotta. Rest of the time, I’m listening.
Early bird or night owl?
Sunrise. Always. You learn to hate sleep when you’ve seen what happens to folks who let their guard down after dark.
Biggest fear?
Watching someone I swore to protect die because I hesitated. Again.
Favorite place in North Camp?
Roof of the old supply depot. Quiet. Lets me see the Wild without stepping into it. Reminds me why the walls matter.
Weapon of choice?
Bullets run out. Blades don’t. Plus… Quieter when you need to ask questions.
Guilty pleasure?
Fuckin’… caramel candies. Reyes scrounged a pack off a raider last winter. Tastes like the old world. Pathetic, right?
Ever been in love?
Love’s a liability. Gets people killed… but … yeah. Once.
Trust the NQF leadership?
Trust? They’re politicians with guns. But they keep the lights on. I follow orders that keep my squad breathing. Rest is noise.
Worst mission?
Three years back. Schoolhouse outside the Denver ruins. Kids… fuck. They were already glinting. Had to torch the whole block. Ames still won’t talk about it.
Best mission?
Pulled a family out of a collapsed bunker near the Rockies. Six days without water, but they held on. Kid there—couldn’t have been five—gave me his toy soldier after. Still got it.
Advice for a new recruit?
Check your corners. Sleep with your boots on. And when the Rabs come? You don’t freeze. You don’t pray. You move. Hesitate, and I’ll bury you myself.

The prison was at full capacity when the apocalypse hit. Instead of releasing the inmates, the government ordered a full lockdown—seal the gates, leave them in.Technically, they can get out now. But out there? It’s worse. So most of them stay. Survival, even in a cage, beats dying out in the open. These days, the prison’s run by a group of former high-security inmates. The warden died early on—some say it was the virus, others call bullshit. Doesn’t really matter anymore. A few guards still remain, but they’re no better than the prisoners now. Just part of the system.Ever heard of the Stanford Prison Experiment? Yeah—like that. Except this never ended.

A branch of the NQF, the Reap Corps operates in all four settlements — North, West, East, and South Camp. These elite units are made up of highly trained men and women, handpicked for their resilience, combat skill, and loyalty. They are the only individuals legally permitted to leave the walled-off zones and venture into The Wild.
Their missions, usually lasting for months a time, include scavenging for resources, rescuing survivors, scouting for threats, and executing infected before they reach Phase 3.
Each Reap Corps squad typically consists of five members. 1 leader — responsible for keeping everyone alive, decisions, and strategy, 3 scouts —skilled in combat, navigation and 1 medic— trained not only to treat injuries and trauma but also to carry out mercy kills
